How It Began

The idea for Fluid began toward the end of COVID — a time when the hospitality industry was forced to pause, pivot, and rethink what connection looked like. While restaurants and bars were closed or operating at limited capacity, people were still gathering outdoors, celebrating life’s moments, and taking advantage of Florida’s sunshine.

It was clear something was missing. After attending countless weddings, festivals, and events over the years, one thing stood out: the bar often felt like an afterthought. Cocktails were simple, lacked personality, and were rarely a reflection of the event itself. Even more often, the craft and care behind the bar didn’t match the moment being celebrated.

That’s where the vision for Fluid took shape. We believe the bar should never feel like an afterthought. The cocktails, the setup, and the people behind the bar should reflect the energy, intention, and style of the event taking place.

Fluid is also built on a long-standing partnership. Aaron and Rus first worked together in a restaurant over 15 years ago, where a shared passion for hospitality, craft, and guest experience quickly turned into a lasting friendship.

We spent months searching for the right foundation to bring that vision to life. With campers in high demand and no desire to settle, the search took time — until we found it. The iconic design, shape, and character of a vintage Shasta camper immediately felt right. It wasn’t just a bar; it was a statement.

In late 2025, it was time to do what was set out to be done. Fluid was officially established and hit the ground flowing.

Aaron Kornhauser

Owner & Operator

Aaron has spent over 20 years in hospitality, working every role in the restaurant industry. Eleven years ago, he stepped into restaurant management, where he naturally gravitated toward the bar, spirits, and the art of hospitality at its highest level.

Fluid is a direct reflection of his philosophy that the bar experience enhances the celebration rather than simply serving it. When he’s not creating cocktails or working events, Aaron can be found donating golf balls to the local golf course or spending time with his loved ones.

Rus Dipp

Co-Owner & Cocktail Director

Rus brings over a decade of high-level bartending experience to Fluid, with a deep focus on cocktail development, balance, and creativity. He believes great cocktails are equal parts technique, intention, and feel.

At Fluid, Rus leads cocktail development — crafting menus that are tailored, expressive, and reflective of each celebration. When he’s not behind the bar, Rus is usually traveling abroad in search of inspiration, catching live music, or donating golf balls alongside Aaron.
